| This is the 3rd Playboy pinball, after one from the 70s and one from the 80s, and Hef and Stern Pinball definitely saved their best for last! This is a decidedly adult, non-PC pinball machine, and it has the R-rated photos installed (PG and PG-13 sets were produced and can be purchased and installed if needed). Gorgeous game, with amazing music, and hilarious and risque sound and speech. The game has a simple, easy to understand ruleset with several multiballs and scoring modes, fun shots by famed designer George Gomez, and lots of tongue-in-cheek humor and playfield mechs. A magazine cover opens to reveal a photo spread...a real centerfold opens to reveal this month's playmate...the peek a boo curtain opens via magnetic magic to reveal another beauty. A rotating 3 sided photo panel spins during "photo shoot" mode, and, during "Tease" mode, each pop bumper hit opens the back panel bit by bit to reveal yet another girl next door (though my girlfriend has suggested installing Burt Reynold's famous playgirl pose on the bearskin rug, and I'm considering it!). A great game for the adult man cave, and lots of fun for players of all skill levels. They certainly don't make them like this anymore!!! |
